Tumblin' Tumbleweeds
Ron wrote in to ask whether we'd consider running Tumbleweeds.
I haven't thought of that strip in ages! I ran in my hometown paper when I was little.
Never seen it? There's a sample above. Does it still resonate? Is the whole Cowboy and Indian thing too much a throwback? Bring a smile? Chuckle? Laugh? Outrage?

seems a bit outdated ... if I was a native american I might be a bit offended.
I'd suggest Amos & Andy.
I would love to see Tumbleweed appear in your paper. I loved it as a kid. It would be better than Family Tree and Cul De Sac. Which I don't like. Keep up the good work. >>DW
I would love to see Tumbleweeds too, I also would love to go back to 1962 and watch F Troop. And I would prefer JFK to still be president. Alas, time moves on and things change ... except on the comics pages where it's 1973 forever!
F Troop!
I always thought Tumbleweed had a few funny moments.I wouldn't mind seeing it again.
Yes on Tumbleweeds! I see it in other papers when I travel and enjoy it.
Pretty sure the creator just died and tretired the strip, no?
The Daily Cartoonist reports it received confirmation that Tumbleweeds creator T.K. Ryan was retiring, as of Dec. 31, 2007.

That alone would all but rule out picking it up.
I can think of three that it could replace
