New comics missing today

Well, somehow wires got crossed at the paginators and our new test comics didn't make today's paper. We should be squared away for tomorrow, though.

Here's today's "Agnes" and "F Minus," which should have appeared in the comics test center:

Agnes, of course, includes characters you'll see over and over, so getting a feel for them may make the difference between enjoying the strip and skipping it.

F Minus, however, is a gag a day, so it's easier to pop in and out of.

Please tell me that the comics that were not in the paper today will return.

Are you looking for "Family Tree" and "Cul de Sac"??

If so, where have you been?

OK, Agnes is a good choice, much better than the other two comics that you have been running. However "F MINUS" appears to be just another of those strange one panel sight gag strips. I really miss the awful puns of "Frank and Ernest" and wish that you would bring them back. One of my favorites that you don't carry is "Prickly City". Maybe you could get rid of "Get Fuzzy" which is not normally very funny. Thanks for seeking feedback.

I dislike "Family Tree" and "Cul de Sac" Hope you drop them. "Agnes" is great and I hope you keep it. Better yet, I suggest you run the comic strip "Curtis." It is about a young black boy that lives with his parents and a younger brother. It is very funny and cute. You can view it at: www.kingfeatures.com/features/comics/curtis/aboutMania.php-6k. I used to read it every day in the Washington Post. It is similar to "Baldo" and "Zits."

I'm glad to see "F minus" which I think is another comic trying (valiantly I might add) to pick up where Gary Larson's absurdist and brilliant brand of humor left off. It has my vote.
I find "Agnes" usually hit or miss(but more miss than hit). And as far as "Family Tree" goes it often seemed a little too preachy, and when it wasn't it was usually boring.
"Cul de Sac" was difficult to know what was going on and not funny.

As a side note I would like to put in props for Frazz. I think Jeff Mallet has done what I thought was all but impossible and pick up the mighty torch left by Bill Waterson. Mallet's unique use of space and color in his Sunday comics begs us to be reminded of Waterson. I see Frazz in some ways as a grown up Calvin. Brilliant!

"Agnes" and "F Minus" are both worse than the previous test strips "Family Tree" and "Cul de Sac." Even though neither of those strips is stellar, they are both better than "Lio" and "Get Fuzzy," two strips I'd like to see go.

I really like F Minus. I read it in the Denver paper when we get it, and hope it'll become a regular in the Gazette. Thanks for trying it out.

"Agnes" and "F Minus" are both much better than the previous test strips "Family Tree" and "Cul de Sac." *Anything* is better than "Lio". "Get Fuzzy" is probably the best strip going today.

I enjoy Lio, but I think Get Fuzzy has been hit n miss, though I still look at it every morning because when it pays off, it pays off huge. And I always enjoy the artwork.

We can definidtely do without "F Minus", and "Agnes" is not much better. Go back to "Frank and Ernest" and, for heaven sake, don't mess with "Zits". "Zits" ranks right up there with Peanuts!!!!

Agnes is wonderful! I hated Cul de Sac & Family Tree. F Minus deserves F---- for humor and drawing. Agnes has wit & wisdom. Bring her on!

I am crazy about Agnes and would like to see her everyday in my paper. Best of all the comic strips offered ever and I'm surprised she hasn't been in the paper before now. F Minus is horrid, by the way. Please run Agnes longer and longer and forever!

Both Agnes and F Minus are OK. I enjoy all the comics except one, which I think is simply awful, never funny, and now usually avoid looking at. Even if I could agree with the your comment that Get Fuzzy is hit or miss, I insist Lio is consistently horrible.
