I don't get it

At all. Can someone explain? Windex? Velvet?
Meanwhile, I'm hearing a bit about "Agnes" and "F Minus." Mostly positive. Most of the negative comments come in letters from our older readers. Such as this, from Jack:
"Agnes": Ho-hum, yawn, shrug.
"F Minus": Pointless, absurd in most cases. Offends the sensibilities. Where did you find this abomination?
I suppose some "F Minus" fans would say absurdity is the point of the comic, and that it doesn't strive to be sensible. But, "abomination?" C'mon. A tad strong, I believe.

Ironic that you uses B.C. as a juxtiposition for the other comics. I like the fact that you're trying current strips instead of relying on strips that keep running after an artist has retired/died

I’m sorry, but were you expecting cutting edge humor from a legacy strip? This strip has run for over 50 years. Isn’t it apparent that the cartoon has run out of material?

I guess I'll use this opportunity to comment on Agnes & F Minus. Agnes just seems dumb and unfunny to me, and I really have trouble getting past the poor artwork. The characters don't interest me; I give it a thumbs down. F Minus is OK, but not great. It's usually amusing, but not nearly as clever or funny as Brevity. It's certainly better than Agnes, but Cul de Sac was better.

Concerning your new test comics, please don't waste space or ink on F Minus. It's way below that. I'm not crazy about Agnes either. I guess I'm old, cause I just dont' think they're funny.

About F Minus -- This is a comic that either strikes out or knocks one out of the park, nothing in between. But the homeruns come often for me, and it's the only strip that makes me laugh out loud. Please keep it--I like a little bit of bizarre amidst all the family humor.

That's why it's good to keep a mix of comics - a little something for everyone (or as close as you can get).

Speaking of Agnes, I really don't see a point to it either, the artwork is less than great and it never is all that funny (to me). F Minus I would give, well, an F Minus. The artwork is bland, it very rarely has great ideas, and dosen't compare at all to some of the classics (peanuts, calvin and hobbes, B.C.). And I'm not old, this is coming from a teen!

I have yet to see an "F MINUS" that's funny. And I'm a pretty funny guy ;-) There has GOT to be better strips out there.
